JUNE 23, 1973 The Monkees was preempted on ABC by American Bandstand's 20th Anniversary Show. JUNE 26, 1967 "I've Got A Little Song Here," Episode No. 12 of The Monkees (prod. #4707, aired on NBC November 28, 1966), was repeated @ 7:30 p.m. EDT on NBC, with a new song added: "For Pete's Sake," written by Peter Tork & Joseph Richards and produced by Douglas Farthing Hatlelid. The sponsor this week was Yardley Of London. Trivia Footnote: "For Pete's Sake" would later be adapted as the second-season closing theme for The Monkees.
