The most interesting thing about the Monkees is that they started out as a television show about a band and went on to become a band that had a television show..and a film...and a mass of hit records...and highly succesful solo careers and they still pack audiences in today. They are international superstars and they were seminal to the youth revolution of the 60s... Oh and they were and still are really sexy blokes! Other than that, well, not much really!
