I guess the stunt casting of Micky has not stopped the show's declining ticket sales. Hairspray will close in March. Here is the blurb from Playbill.com.....The London production of Hairspray is to close at the Shaftesbury Theatre March 28, after a run of two-and-a-half years and over 1,000 performances, where it has been seen by over one million people.
